Good to know

What to know about ClearPath care.

Who can request care?

ClearPath provides outpatient telehealth care for eligible teens and adults who are physically located in California during clinical appointments. Confirm the exact minimum age and any guardian requirements with the practice.

Do I need a diagnosis before reaching out?

No. A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation begins with the concerns, history, health, context, and goals—not with a required diagnosis.

Does ClearPath only focus on ADHD?

No. ClearPath offers comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management, with specialized expertise in ADHD. The practice determines individually whether a particular concern is appropriate for ongoing care.

Which conditions does ClearPath treat?

This website currently publishes ADHD as the confirmed condition specialty. A comprehensive evaluation may consider other clinically relevant symptoms and possible explanations, but that does not establish ongoing treatment for every condition.

What happens during a psychiatric evaluation?

The clinician reviews the current concerns, their timing and impact, relevant health and medication history, development, sleep, mood, anxiety, context, strengths, prior care, and reasonable alternative explanations. The exact assessment depends on the individual.

What happens during an ADHD evaluation?

A focused ADHD evaluation may review attention, executive function, development, school or work history, emotional regulation, health, sleep, context, and daily impact. Rating scales or outside information may support—but do not replace—the clinical evaluation.

Does an evaluation guarantee a diagnosis or medication?

No. Diagnosis and treatment recommendations depend on the individual evaluation. Medication, including controlled medication, is never automatic.

What services are established?

ClearPath currently publishes comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, focused ADHD evaluation, medication management, integrated individual therapy, accommodation documentation, and workplace wellbeing workshops.

Can ClearPath guarantee an accommodation?

No. Documentation may support an appropriate request, but the school, testing organization, university, or employer makes the final decision.

Can I use insurance?

ClearPath accepts Aetna and UnitedHealthcare. Clinician participation, plan products, benefits, and patient costs can vary, so verify coverage before an appointment.

What are the self-pay fees?

Contact ClearPath before scheduling to request current self-pay fees and Good Faith Estimate information when applicable.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a $200 charge.

Can I email clinical information?

Use ordinary email only for non-urgent administrative questions and avoid including private medical details. Use the practice’s designated intake and patient channels for clinical information.

Is ClearPath an emergency service?

No. ClearPath is an outpatient practice and does not provide emergency or crisis-response services. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For crisis support in the U.S., call or text 988.

How do I get started?

Begin on the appointment page to review the current eligibility information and open the practice’s designated intake. Email a non-urgent administrative question if you need help with logistics.

Need more detail about a service?

Review psychiatric care, conditions and evaluation, or insurance and fees before requesting an appointment.
